Description
The Neptune was offered for only a few short years in the 1990s, with very small production. This watch has Patek box and original papers and, rare on a Patek, a gorgeous color change dial.
Case is 18k gold with full-length integral 18k bracelet with double-folding butterfly style deployment clasp. Both the bezel and the bracelet have an engraved reeded pattern, alternating with smooth surfaces. The 18k gold crown has crown guards. Sapphire crystal. Dimensions are 37mm diameter which wears larger because of the crown guards and a slim 8mm thickness. Bracelet clasp is 18k white gold and is engraved PATEK PHILIPPE NAUTILUS and has a flip-lock closure.
Original untouched silver dial, as noted on the Certificate, has developed a champagne patina. Dial features large applied golden roman numerals, inside minutes/seconds chapter and date window at 3 o’clock. The dial is at once minimalist and luxurious with the large golden roman numerals. feuille golden hands with inlaid luminous and sweep center seconds.
Automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315/190 with 30 jewels, self-compensating balance spring, solid gold rotor, 48 hour power reserve and engraved with the Geneva Seal.
