Description
Here is a killer vintage Patek Philippe wristwatch in never touched, never polished condition. The reference 2481 is rare and its oversized case makes it very collectable. Significantly, the reference 2481 is the model Patek chose to case its extremely expensive cloisonné dials of the period, most often bespoke creations.
Original never touched patinated 18k case is 37mm diameter by 11mm thick. Bezel is concave and lugs have an undiminished crisp step. Acrylic crystal and massive 18k snap on case back.
Original untouched dial is silvered with applied golden indices, embossed minutes and seconds chapter and my favorite, original golden dauphine hands along with sweep center seconds hand.
Original manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 27 SC with 18 jewels, double stamped with the Geneva Seal, adjusted to temperature, isochronism and in 5 positions, and with swan’s neck fine regulator. Movement is clean and running.
Unworn vintage Patek Philippe brown alligator strap.
