Apart from these asymmetrical vintage Cellini watches being the most collectable models from the extensive Rolex Cellini line, this watch is complete with super rare original Cellini box and Guarantee certificate.
The certificate is quite the rarity, and its presence adds significantly to the watch’s value. It also adds to the collector’s knowledge of why Rolex launched the Cellini line in the first place: as an homage to Benvenuto Cellini, the renowned goldsmith and sculptor from the Italian Renaisance. The story of Cellini’s dedication and passion is printed on the certificate, which is endorsed by Ginzbergs in June 1974.
In addition, this model served as the inspiration for the Gerald Genta designed King Midas Cellini model.
The 18k asymmetrical case has crown on the left side of the case. The entire top of the watch (and the buckle) is encrusted with factory diamonds. Case dimensions are 28mm long by 28mm wide by a mere 5.2mm thin. Sapphire crystal.
Original multi-colored dial with original baton hands. Rolex manual winding Caliber 1600 with 19 jewels which is clean and keeping good time. Eccentrically shaped brown lizard strap with diamond encrusted Rolex buckle.
