Description
Here is a beautiful and all-original early Twentieth Century minute repeating pocket watch from Golay Fils & Stahl, which is a famous jeweler in Geneva since 1837. Although the dial is signed Golay Fils & Stahl, the watches were made by top Swiss watch manufactures.
The massive 18k case is 49mm diameter and, never having been engraved - a rarity – this vintage treasure is ready for engraving on its case back. There is a hinged front lid, which is released by the button inset in the crown, as well as a hinged back lid and hinged inner lid that protects the movement.
Original never modified champagne dial with Breguet numerals and original blued pomme hands and subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement is manual winding, center-jeweled, nickel plated with minutes repetition. The repeater is accurate, loud and clear.
This vintage pocket watch is accompanied by its original box and is in mint original condition.
