Description
The Rolex Day Date in 18k rose gold with domed bezel is a gorgeous watch. This watch features the desirable and drool worthy Rose/Roman dial along with its original Rolex box and papers.
Case is 18k rose gold, or pink gold if you prefer, with dimensions of 36mm diameter by 12.8mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. Crown screws down and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters. As beautiful as this watch is, it is also built to be absolutely bullet proof. In the words of a Rolex spokesperson many years ago, your Rolex can take anything your arm can take.
Of course, one of the nicest things about Rolex watches is their durability and accuracy. I have a couple of Rolex watches (Day Date and Daytona) that I have worn a lot, for a decade, and they still look like new and keep perfect time. Even if your Rolex should get beaten up or break – which is very unlikely – the Rolex factory service centers do great work. Your watch comes back looking and running like new, for a relatively modest price.
Rose dial is radially brushed with applied rose gold roman numerals. Full day display in the window at the top of the dial and date display at 3 o’clock.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3155 with 31 jewels, microstella regulating screws, Breguet balance spring with free sprung Glucydur balance. This caliber is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. The day and date displays are quick-set, meaning each display can be easily set by rotating the crown.
Bracelet is 18k rose gold Rolex President with invisible clasp.
