Here is a watch you don’t see every lifetime. As a quick aside, anyone who has an interest in multiple genres of collectables, knows that the early 1960s saw the debut of the most collectable watches, cars and guitars ever made. This watch is from 1962, at the advent of this explosion of creativity in the luxury world.
Stainless steel case in mint+ condition with smooth bezel and screw down crown and plastic crystal, measures 35mm diameter by 10.2mm thick. Serial number 890XXX dates production to 1962.
Silver expertly restored star dial by Rolex, one of the nicest looking dials ever. Hands are original. Dial is mint.
Rolex manual winding Caliber 1225 which is a 17 jewel manual winding movement. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is a new generic steel bracelet which flatters the watch.
This watch is in mint+ condition and very nice looking on a man’s or lady’s wrist… or better yet to share.
