Description
Here is a special horological treasure: an entirely original, unpolished, absolutely mint condition vintage 18k gold Vacheron Constantin chronograph from 1942.
Original unpolished 18k case is perfectly sized at 35mm by 11.5mm thick. Case finish alternates between polished and brush finished surfaces, with long longs with factory sharp edges, domed acrylic crystal and rectangular chrono pushers. Snap back.
Original untouched champagne dial with applied ‘XII’, ‘VI’ and dart style indices. Two sunken subdials for constant seconds and chronograph 30 minute totalizer. Original golden feuille hands and blued chronograph hands.
Original 17 jewel Vacheron Constantin Caliber 434 with column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running.
Strap is new pebbled brown leather .
