This is one of the most elegant watches ever - the Patek Philippe Calatrava model 3998 in 18k white gold with glossy black dial with dauphine hands.
White gold case has dimensions of 34mm diameter by 8.7mm thick. Slightly domed sapphire crystal and screw-down case back. The case body and lugs are polished while the caseback is brush finished. The case lines are sleek, modern and elegant.
Dial is glossy black with white gold framed date display at 3 o'clock. White gold dauphine hands. Center sweep seconds hand.
Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 SC with 30 jewels, six bridges, 224 individual parts, 48 hour power reserve and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
The reference 3998 is one of the most elegant Calatravas ever made, in my opinion. The reference has been discontinued for several years. This watch is indiscernible from new un unworn Patek strap with 18k white gold buckle.
