Description
The Rolex 6062 is a legend and the opportunity to acquire one happens seldomly. Here is a steel 6062 made in 1953 in near mint condition.
Case is 36mm diameter with domed plastic crystal and screw on case back. Rolex signed crown. Inside case back has ‘6062’ and date code of III.53.
Original silver dial with applied dart markers and Rolex coronet with windows for day and month displays, date on the periphery with blue date chapter, and moonphase display above 6 o’clock with subsidiary seconds subdial encircling the moonphases.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 9 ¾’’’ with 19 jewels and is a certified chronometer. Movement is very clean and running.
Vintage crocodile strap with Rolex buckle.
