Description
Here is a beautiful Rolex Cosmograph with great looking untouched original black dial with contrasting silver subdials. This watch’s nickname “Azuli” comes from the word ‘DAYTONA’ on which the originally silver printing has turned blue. It is a rare and very cool twist on a beautiful vintage Rolex Daytona!
Original mint/mint+ condition stainless steel case measures 37mm diameter by 13mm thick. Plastic crystal. Screw down crown is original. Round pump-style chronograph pushers are operating crisply and the chronograph hands all reset accurately to their zero positions. Original bezel with Units per Hour scale.
Original black dial is untouched, with contrasting silver subdials, and original hands. The silver printing on the dial looks fantastic, and the BLUE DAYTONA arching over the lower subdial looks awesome.
Rolex manual winding Caliber 727 with 17 jewels adjusted in three positions. This caliber has column wheel construction and is in perfect condition, having had a movement service in 2015.
Watch is on new pebbled leather strap with steel Rolex buckle.
