Description
All vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches are rare. The 6239 is the first Daytona and was made from 1963 until 1969. The vast majority of 6239 production was in stainless steel. An 18k gold 6239 is a true rarity. This watch received a movement service at Rolex in 2014 and the RSC service papers and box will accompany the watch.
Original solid 18k gold case with original bezel with sharp edge, plastic crystal, round pump style chronograph pushers, original 18k screw down crown operating perfectly. Dimensions are 37mm diameter by 12.5mm thick.
Original untouched gold dial with applied golden indices, constrasting black subdials, golden service hands – all in mint condition.
Original manual winding Rolex Caliber 722 with 17 jewels and adjusted in 3 positions. Movement is obviously in perfect condition since its recent Rolex service and features column wheel chronograph construction.
Rolex 18k riveted Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp.
