Description
The Rolex Day Date “President” is Rolex’s most prestigious watch. This is the large Day Date II with its 41mm case. This “Black Out” is one of the hottest watches in the market with its black dial with large applied black arabic numerals. With this watch’s large size and platinum case and bracelet – it has a most impressive heft.
Platinum Oyster case is 41mm in diameter and features smooth bezel, sapphire crystal and screw down crown. Case is water resistant to 100 meters.
Dial is black with applied black arabic numerals in a concentric ring, hence its “Black Out” nickname. White gold baton hands. Minutes chapter around the periphery of the dial. Full day on display at 12 o’clock as well as the date at 3 o’clock. Amazingly, even in this digital age, having both the day and date displayed on one’s wristwatch is very convenient.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3156 with 31 jewels, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and with all of Rolex’s recent technical advancements like their Parachrom spring. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is platinum President bracelet with invisible folding clasp.
