This is the earlier and much more rare and desirable version of the 116758SARU without the diamond lugs and crown guards. This 116748 features 23 diamonds, 18 sapphires and 18 rubies on the bezel, which is stunning. 18k case is 40mm diameter by 12.3mm thick with sapphire crystal and screw down crown. Solid 18k Rolex Oyster bracelet. Black dial with extra-large luminous hour markers, luminous hands and date window at 3 o’clock. “GMT MASTER II” is in green. Automatic winding C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer Rolex Caliber 3186 with 31 jewels and all of Rolex’s latest movement innovations. Actually, this 116748 SARU is much more difficult to find than the later diamond case version. It offers just the right amount of subtle bling and is truly a rare beauty.
