I estimate that there is only one steel and 18k rose gold 1601 Datejust for every 5,000 steel and yellow gold watches. This is only the second one we have had.
Original stainless steel and 18k rose gold case with the characteristic raised plastic crystal that gives the 1601 its unique profile. Original 18k rose gold fluted bezel and screw down crown, working perfectly.
Original black pie-pan dial with applied rose gold hour markers, rose gold baton hands and date at 3’oclock.
Original automatic winding Rolex 1570 Caliber with 26 jewels, adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is clean and running. This is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
