Description
This is a very rare Panerai wristwatch, made in only ‘D’ and ‘E’ series production, which is 2002. Radiomir case in 18k rose gold with matte black dial with rose gold markers and hands and automatic winding Zenith movement.
The Radiomir case has a vintage look with its wire lugs and perfectly proportioned cushion case. Radiomir cases are normally 45mm-47mm, which is to say they are usually huge watches. This case at 40mm is sized perfectly for most wrists, including ladies’ wrists and is one of the truly unisex sized watches. In 18k rose gold with its oversized crown and mirror finish, this is a classic vintage Panerai looking watch. Sapphire crystals front and display back.
Black dial with rose gold markers and hands, which are inlaid with bright Luminova. Luminous ‘12’, ‘3’, ‘6’ and ‘9’ and date window between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock.
Automatic winding Panerai caliber OP VII which is a Zenith Elite 680 base caliber with 26 jewels and beating at 28,800 beats per hour. Movement is decorated with “PANERAI” name theme. Solid gold rotor.
Strap is worn hand sewn black Panerai crocodile with special Panerai 18k rose gold buckle.
Watch is accompanied by inner box and manual.
