I have always said the Datejust (along with the Submariner) is the one watch to have, if you want to own just one watch. The Datejust II at 41mm diameter is thoroughly modernized. This version with the smooth bezel and grey dial with blue arabic numerals is a fantastic looking timepiece.
Stainless steel with sapphire crystal and screw-down crown. 41.5mm diameter by 12.3mm thick. The Oyster case does its job perfectly, ensuring a water resistance of 100 meters.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3136 with 31 jewels, Parachrom Breguet spring, Paraflex shock absorprion, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Oyster bracelet in stainless steel with all links and great sliding-fit clasp.
