Description
An 18k gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is a beautiful thing to own. It will make you happy every day that you put it on your wrist. There’s a majesty about gold watches that their steel brethren lack. And a Daytona is inimicable; it’s simply the best.
Original 18k gold case in mint+ condition, with dimensions of 37mm diameter by 13.9mm thick. Engraved “Units per Hour” bezel with scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’ has its original sharp edge. Screw down crown and round pump style chronograph pushers are all working perfectly. Chronograph hands reset crisply and accurately to zero. Crystal is plastic. Serial number 7426XXX dates production to 1982 which is getting late in 6265 production.
Original untouched gold dial with applied golden hour markers and contrasting black subdials. The hands are all original.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to 3 positions. Caliber features column wheel construction and is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Movement is winding smoothly and running well. Movement is in pristine condition.
New brown pebbled leather strap with Rolex buckle.
