ROLEX ASTRUA 6265 BIG RED DAYTONA UNPOLISHED STEEL BOX & PAPERS

Founded in 1860 in Turin, Italy, the world-famous Astrua is a longstanding authorized Rolex dealer. “ASTRUA” is signed on the dial as well as on the papers that accompany the watch. This 6265 is from 1981 which is from the desirable late production era. Never polished stainless steel case is 37mm in diameter by 13.5mm thick. Bezel is as crisp as the day this watch left the factory and the case is in amazingly new condition. Screw down chronograph pushers and screw down crown all working perfectly. Plastic crystal. Serial number is 7426XXX. Original untouched black Big Red dial co-signed ASTRUA with applied hour markers and contrasting silver subdials with concentric guilloche. Hands are all original and the subdial hands are black so as to maximize legibility against the silver subdials. Dial is in perfect condition. Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This chronograph caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is pristine and running. Bracelet is Rolex 78350 Oyster in mint+ condition like the watch. This unpolished vintage 6265 Daytona is accompanied by original Rolex box and Astrua stamped papers.
