Rolex invented the best watch case in the business: the Oyster case. Water resistant to 100 meters, with fluted 18k white gold bezel, plastic crystal and screw on case back and screw down crown… Rolex managed to take an over-engineered industrial object and make it great looking. 36mm diameter by 12.8mm thick.
