Unlike the more renowned anti-magnetic watches like the Rolex Milgauss or IWC Ingenieur, the Patek Philippe 3420 Calatrava is the discreet and stealthy anti-magnetic vintage watch. I just love how Patek encased their finest anti-magnetic movement in a classical rose gold watch. These kinds of things are precisely what makes collecting vintage watches so fun. Incredibly, this watch has original Patek box and papers.
Never polished original 18k rose gold case features claw style lugs, domed acrylic crystal, and case finish that alternates between polished and brushed surfaces. Case dimensions are 34mm diameter by 8mm thick. There is no bezel to speak of, so you are basically wearing a dial, which is nice considering how great looking this dial is!
Original untouched dial is silvered with applied rose gold hour markers and baton hands. Subsidiary seconds dial.
Movement is the anti-magnetic manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 27-AM 400 with 18 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions, and double stamped with the Geneva Seal. The movement is winding smoothly, beating strongly, and immaculately clean. The "AM" in the movement model number is for "anti-magnetic". Patek Philippe sourced 18k rose gold bracelet which original owner purchased.
