Here is a clean, early pre-1M serial number vintage 1601 Rolex Datejust in rare 18k rose gold. In comparison to the stainless steel, and 18k yellow gold and steel Datejust production, solid gold Datejusts are rare. This watch in rose gold is a rare beauty for sure. Rose gold 36mm case with fluted bezel, plastic crystal and screw down crown, in clean mint condition. Serial number 926XXX dates this watch to 1963. Original untouched silver pie pan dial with early style applied hour markers and date window at 3 o’clock. Original automatic winding Chronometer Certified Rolex Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is clean and running. Strap is new never worn Rolex brown crocodile with Rolex buckle.
