ROLEX 6265 DAYTONA BIG RED STEEL

And it’s true; Rolex isn’t making these 6265s or any vintage Daytona models ever again. Fact is, they are getting rarer every year. No chronograph has ever looked as nice as one of these vintage Daytonas and likely, none ever will. It’s not merely a question of aesthetics; the market is speaking loudly clamoring for the screw-down chrono pusher Daytonas. Stainless steel case is 37mm in diameter by 13.5mm thick. Original screw down chronograph pushers and original screw down crown, all working perfectly. Plastic crystal. Original bezel with Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Case is in mint+ condition. Serial number 3976XXX dates production to 1973. Authentic untouched silver Big Red dial with applied hour markers and contrasting black subdials with concentric guilloche. Subdial hands are white so as to maximize legibility against the black subdials. Dial is in perfect condition. Movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This chronograph caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running. Original Rolex Jubilee bracelet with folding clasp.
