Rolex collectors know all about so-called “transitional” Submariners and GMTs and other sports models… but not so much the Datejust. Plastic crystals and quickset dates rarely occur in the same watch. This model 16013 Datejust with collectable blue vignette dial has original Rolex box and papers.
Original stainless steel case has 18k gold bezel, plastic crystal, screw-down crown operating perfectly, and dimensions of 36mm diameter by 12.5mm thick.
Original rare and beautiful Blue Vignette dial with factory diamond hour markers and original hands, and date at 3 o’clock.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3035 with 27 jewels and adjusted in 5 positions and to temperature. This C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer movement is immaculate and running.
