You really can’t ask for a better looking complicated watch for the money than this Ebel 1911 BTR QP with 45mm 18k rose gold case with the rare skeletonized dial. Ebel uses their signature sculpted case and proprietary automatic movement with a very high pedigree.
I love the Ebel 1911 case. It’s unique and it’s great looking. Alternating between mirror and matte finished surfaces, the case has a geometrical look to its massive proportions. Knurled chronograph pushers and crown along with sapphire front and display back crystals round out the appointments to this decidedly modern looking watch case.
The skeletonized dial is the best part of this watch, along with its impressive complications. There are black and gray bars extending from the center of the watch, with the black bars indicating each 5 minute position and with a luminous square at the end. Calendar functions are: month and leap year, date, moonphase and day. There is also a chronograph 30 minute totalizer and constant seconds. Skeletonized rose gold hands.
Automatic winding Ebel Caliber 288 movement with 27 jewels and decorated winding rotor, also in rose gold and engraved with the watch’s limited edition number 17X/200. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Strap is new unworn Ebel black hand-sewn crocodile with 18k rose gold deployment clasp.
Watch is in new condition with box and papers.
