Description
These gold vintage Submariners are just killer. The condition of this watch is mint+. Original 18k case measures 40mm diameter by 14mm thick. Crystal is the top hat plastic. Bezel turns as it should. Replacement “pearl” in original insert. Original solid gold TripLock crown screws down smoothly. Original rare black dial is set off beautifully by the gold text and the applied golden hour markers. Date is at 3 o’clock. Original movement is the Rolex Caliber 1570, one of the most accurate automatic movements ever built by any manufacture. Maintained properly, many caliber 1570s keep time to within 1 or 2 seconds per day after 20+ years. This mint+ condition 18k vintage Submariner is on an unworn custom leather strap with Rolex buckle.
