Rolex considers the Day Date their top of the line model. It is no wonder, then, that the Day Date gets all of the cool and creative, rare, collectable and valuable dials. Yes, there are loads of Day Dates with plain champagne dials, and they are beautiful. However, a watch like this one, with never polished 18k gold case and spectacular ruby and diamond Myriad dial is a real find.
The Day Date is water resistant to 100 meters thanks to its Oyster case. The crown screws down and the crystal is sapphire, making the watch all but impervious to water and dirt intrusion. It’s obviously solid 18k gold, and if you like gold then this watch is the ultimate daily watch for you. Diameter is 36mm and it’s also got a solid 18k fluted bezel.
