Rolex GMT in 18k gold with 18k Rolex Jubilee bracelet. This is the most popular configuration for an 18k GMT. This watch features the older style dial with the raised hour markers, which gives the dial more depth. Crystal is sapphire. For a brief period, Rolex made GMTs with quick set dates. Modern GMTs have hour hands that can be advanced in one hour increments, for ease in adjusting the local time for travellers. This system lets you rapidly advance the hand and the date follows along. The earlier watches had neither the one hour increments system nor a quick set date. This particular watch features the rarer quickset date, which you advance using the winding crown in the second position. Serial number 9886XXX dates to 1987.

18k gold case with dimensions of 40mm diameter by 12mm thick. Screw down crown and sapphire crystal. The Oyster case is both beautiful, iconic and highly functional.

“Nipple dial” is black with raised gold hour markers, which has luminous set into the top of each marker. Date at 3 o’clock.

Movement is the Rolex automatic Caliber 3075 featuring quick set date and 24 hour hand for second time zone tracking.
