HEUER STEVE MCQUEEN MONACO STAINLESS CHRONOGRAPH AUTOMATIC

As the market for these vintage Monacos has heated up, most markedly since the auction of the watch that Steve McQueen actually owned and wore, finding watches that have anything that came with them originally is very rare. In addition, the condition of this watch is excellent. Stainless steel square case with original brushed finish, domed square plastic crystal, and original signed crown and chronograph pushers. Note the location of the crown at 9 o’clock while the chronograph pushers are in their normal location on the right side of the case. Case dimensions are 38mm long not including the lugs, by 40mm wide not including the crown by 13.5mm thick. Length including the lugs is an impressive 45.6mm. Blue dial with matte finish and white square chronograph totalizer subdials. Original hands. Applied hour markers. Date window at 6 o’clock. The center hands are red as are the hour markers at each 5 minute position. Original automatic winding Heuer Caliber 11 with 17 jewels. Rare vintage Heuer mesh steel bracelet. Apart from a mark on the crystal and some light wear, this watch is in mint condition and accompanied by hang tag and original booklet.
