ROLEX 6265 TROPICAL BIG RED DAYTONA STEEL

This vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is very clean and mint and 100% original. This watch has that certain something that makes it pop visually. It is probably the fantastic looking silver Big Red dial with tropical brown subdials and this full metal case. I dare say, if you are in the market for a vintage Daytona, that you should buy this watch. You can thank me later. Original stainless steel case is 37mm in diameter by 13.2mm thick. Original screw down chronograph pushers and original screw down crown, all working perfectly. Plastic crystal. Original bezel with Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Bezel is clean and with original sharp edge. Lugs are full metal and sharp. Case is in mint+ condition. Serial number 5529XXX dates production to 1978. Original untouched silver Sigma Big Red dial with applied hour markers and contrasting tropical brown (originally black) subdials with concentric guilloche. Hands are all original and the subdial hands are white so as to maximize legibility against the black subdials. “DAYTONA” is in red. Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This chronograph caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is pristine and running. Bracelet is Rolex heavy link Oyster with flip lock clasp. Watch is in mint+ condition and simply beautiful!
