Easily the most incredible, rare, collectable and beautiful original untouched dial we have ever encountered on a vintage Submariner. Tropical brown with ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL in gilt (gold) print, with underline beneath it, and then the next four lines of text in silver print. Dial has its original luminous, original hands and chapter ring. It is the nicest vintage Submariner dial we have ever seen and we have never seen another example of this dial. Original stainless steel case with POINTED CROWN GUARDS in mint+ condition, 40mm in diameter by 14.4mm thick, with domed plastic crystal, original screw down crown operating perfectly, case back with date code of III.62, and serial number 869XXX dating the watch to 1962. Original untouched black to brown, gilt gloss Tropical color change dial with unique combination of attributes as described above. Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1560 with 26 jewels and adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is pristine and running. Watch is on unworn custom suede strap that compliments the watch very nicely. Watch is in mint+ original condition.
