TUDOR 79090 SUBMARINER STAINLESS AUTOMATIC

Here is a Submariner that Rolex made, with blue dial and blue bezel insert, in steel. If you are a Rolex collector, you know that this color combination of white metal and blue bezel/dial on a Submariner only recently became available, in a white gold model, with a $36,850 retail price :-0

Collectors wished for a steel Rolex Submariner with blue bezel and dial and never got it. But Tudor was making them this way, and everyone knows Rolex made these Tudors because the case back is engraved “ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA” and the crown is a Rolex signed Triplock crown.

The patina on this 100% original Tudor Submariner is gorgeous. The watch is just plain gorgeous, period. Case is 40mm diameter and is mint. Original untouched blue dial is mint, and has silver date wheel at 3 o’clock, with original hands and that patina! Original plastic top-hat crystal. Movement is the venerable ETA 2824-2 automatic winding caliber, which has quick-set date. Bracelet is folded link Oyster with flip-lock clasp.
