Description
Here is an early Rolex Cosmograph, from 1966, with stainless steel case and great looking silver dial with contrasting black subdials. The watch is 100% original, and as fresh and crisp as a vintage Daytona can be. I swear, even after holding and examining probably 2,000 Rolex Daytonas over the years, I still take an extra minute or two to admire each one.
Original stainless steel case measures 37mm diameter by 14mm thick. Plastic crystal. Screw down crown is original and operating perfectly. Round pump-style chronograph pushers are also operating crisply and the chronograph hands all reset accurately to their zero positions. Serial number 1463XXX dates production of this watch to 1966. Inside case back is stamped ‘6239’ and reflects a service history.
Original silver dial is untouched, with contrasting black subdials, and original hands.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 72B with 17 rubies and column wheel construction. The movement is in pristine, running condition.
Rolex folded link Oyster mint condition.
