Here is, in my opinion, the most classic and most versatile Rolex ever: the Datejust in stainless steel with 18k white gold bezel. Being a Datejust, the watch has a date (which is more convenient than you imagine, until you wear a watch without a date). The Datejust dresses up; the Datejust dresses down. It’s a perfect watch from the beach to being in a tuxedo or little black dress.
Speaking of black suits and dresses, this Datejust sports an original, untouched and rare black pie pan dial. Very elegant in black, just like you will be wearing it.
Original stainless steel case is 36mm diameter. Bezel is 18k white gold and very crisp and mint. Plastic crystal. Screw down crown operating flawlessly.
Rolex automatic winding Caliber 1560 which is a 26 jewel C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is Rolex Jubilee in clean condition. Watch is accompanied by Rolex box and original papers dated 1976 and original booklet.
