Description
You won’t find a more beautiful vintage Patek Philippe wristwatch than this circa 1951 Cioccolatone, in truly rare 18k rose gold with rose dial. This style case was also used by Vacheron Constantin. Case is square with large rounded lugs and overall dimensions of 37mm long by 31mm wide by 7.5mm thick. Crystal is domed square acrylic (which is hard to make). Large square bezel and stepped case. Quite the complex case to make.
Original untouched rose color dial with brush finish, original rose gold markers with patina and dauphine hands. Outer minutes chapter. Subsidiary seconds.
Movement is the Patek Philippe manual winding Caliber 10’’’-200 with 18 jewels, self-compensating balance spring, swan neck fine regulator and adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions.
Unworn vintage Patek Philippe strap with rose color tang buckle. Watch is in mint condition and has strong vintage charm.
