Description
Here is an elegant Patek Philippe in 18k on an integral 18k bracelet. The bracelet links have 9 pieces, making this the "softest" feeling metal bracelet I have encountered in terms of comfort. The flexibility of the bracelet is amazing.
The 18k case is tonneau shaped, with dimensions of 34mm long (not including lugs) by 33mm wide by 8.2mm thick. Sapphire crystal. The watch is thin by modern standards, and fits easily under shirt sleeves. Given the date display, this is a perfect daily watch for someone who needs to dress up a bit for work.
Dial is silver with applied Breguet style arabic numerals and pomme/Breguet style hands.
Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 SC. This caliber has center sweep seconds, 30 jewels, 6 bridges, 48 hour power reserve, 224 individual parts and is stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Patek Philippe discontinued this model years ago. Too bad, as this is a beautiful wristwatch. I love dressy watches on a bracelet. So often the style of a bracelet undermines the overall aesthetic of a watch... not so the 5030 Gondolo... this bracelet is a masterpiece.
