Description
This vintage 1960’s Calatrava has a never polished case with original finish and sharp case lines and chiseled claw lugs. It also has a massive screw back, which Patek used to protect its best movements. Original 18k white gold case measures 35mm in diameter (41.1mm from lug tip to lug tip) by 10.4mm thick. Crystal is the original acrylic. Original winding crown with Calatrava Cross in relief. The 18k white gold massive caseback screws down into the case smoothly.
With its embossed minutes chapter, subsidiary seconds hand, original white gold applied hour markers and slender baton hands, this 100% original and untouched silver dial also has radial sunburst brush finish and date at 3 o’clock.
Original movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 27-460M with 37 jewels and adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. The massive centrally mounted winding rotor is 18k gold. The movement is double stamped with the Geneva Seal and is in immaculate condition.
