Description
Here is a collectable reference 6538 vintage Rolex Submariner. This is the model known as the “Big Crown”, for its oversized winding crown and no crown guards. A legendary Rolex for certain.
Original case is stainless steel with dimensions of 38mm diameter by 16mm thick, along with domed plastic crystal, screw down big “BREVET” crown (operating great) and smoothly turning bezel with attractively faded replacement insert. Date code on inside case back is ‘IV.1958’.
Black Rolex service dial with chapter ring and original luminous.
Original movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1030 with 25 jewels and adjusted for five positions and temperature. Movement is clean and running.
Bracelet is a riveted stretch Rolex USA Oyster bracelet in mint condition.
