Description
The Rolex Zephyr is a particularly configured Oyster Perpetual with characteristic bezel, hour markers and hands. This watch is cool because it’s still on its original 14k bracelet and complete with original Rolex box and papers.
Case is 14k gold with 34mm diameter, plastic crystal, screw down crown operating perfectly and the way cool original textured bezel. Serial number 2430XXX dates production to 1969. Original Guarantee is punched and dated November 12, 1971. Bracelet has ‘3 71’ date code.
Original gold dial with Zephyr cross hair lines, original luminous dot hour markers and original hands unique to the Zephyr model.
Rolex automatic winding and C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer Caliber 1570 with 26 jewels and adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. Movement is pristine and running. Inside case back shows regular service history.
Rolex 14k riveted Oyster bracelet with no stretch.
Original Rolex box, papers, billfold and cigarette box card. A treasure!
