This extremely limited edition watch is made from forged carbon, black in color, with red numbers and exposed red stitching on the black strap. Even the tourbillon cage has a red anchor. What does it mean that the case of this watch is carbon? It means that the watch is light for its size and the complicated movement it contains. The Royal Oak is all about its case. This black case is 45mm wide by 16mm thick. The famous exposed structural screws on the PVD treated black octagonal bezel. The octagonal crown. Audemars Piguet must count their lucky stars every day since the 1970s, when upstart watch designer Gerald Genta handed the firm its most successful model, by far. The Royal Oak is watch royalty and deservedly so. This Las Vegas Strip tourbillon chronograph is limited to 35 watches total production. It is a fantastic looking, sporty watch, with elite collectability. This is the lowest production Audemars Piguet tourbillon ever made. Black dial with tourbillon cut-out, with red highlights and centermost area with the famous “Mega Tapisserie” engraving. Audemars Piguet in-house manual winding Caliber with 25 jewels and adjusted to heat, cold and in 5 positions. Column wheel chronograph construction. Sporty black crocodile AP strap with PVD treated buckle on the folding deployment clasp. Watch is like new and complete.
