Scrumptious 18k rose gold case with sapphire front and display back crystals, and with dimensions of 40mm diameter by 11.7mm thick. The case sides are sculpted, the bezel is massive… the 5205 is Patek’s most progressive and aggressively designed case yet.
Dial is glossy black with large applied rose gold hour markers connected by an interstitial ring, which gives the appearance of being a Sector dial. The calendar information is displayed in apertures: the day, date and month are displayed in apertures spanning from between the 10 o’clock position to the 2 o’clock positions. The moonphase is displayed in the aperture in the subdial at 6 o’clock, and is surrounded by the 24 hour time display. Dauphine hands in rose gold. Does it get any better?
Movement is the automatically winding Patek Philippe Caliber 324 S which has 34 jewels, 10 bridges, 45 hour power reserve, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is comprised of 347 individual parts and has the new Patek ‘PP’ quality hallmark (an even more stringent indication of quality than the Geneva Seal).
Strap is hand sewn black Patek crocodile with 18k rose gold Patek tang buckle.
Watch is new condition with box, hang tag, papers, and setting stylus.
