ROLEX 6241 PAUL NEWMAN 14K DAYTONA

This Rolex 6241 Paul Newman has everything you could want in a vintage Daytona. The 14k case is rare and this particular case has a rich patina that is beautiful. The champagne dial has lemony yellow overtones. This is one of those must own watches. Original 14k gold case measures 38mm diameter by 13mm thick. Crystal is plastic. The 6241 bezel features an insert that is clear acrylic over a black background with the white Units per Hour scale underneath. The scale is from ‘50’ to ‘200’ and the insert is clean. The screw down crown and pump style chronograph pushers are all working great. Inside case back is engraved ‘6241’. Serial number 2084XXX dates production to 1969. Original untouched champagne dial with lemony overtones, features applied golden hour markers, contrasting black color subdials with guilloche and golden baton hands. Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 722 with 17 jewels, adjusted to three positions and with column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running. Rolex 14k riveted Oyster bracelet.
