Franck Muller is known as “The Master of Complications”. The brand is also known for its widespread use of tonneau shaped watch cases. This “Ronde” case is round, in steel, with impressive 42mm diameter. The use of a round case for the impressive tourbillon movement inside is a rare and refreshing change from this famous brand. Case is mirror finished throughout, which adds to its wrist presence. With rounded case body, wide domed bezel, massive lugs with screws to secure strap and front and display back sapphire crystals… this watch makes an impression. Black dial is very elegant with applied Breguet style numerals and hands along with embossed minutes chapter. Highlight, of course, is the tourbillon cutout which shows the tourbillon in action. Highly and beautifully decorated manual winding Franck Muller movement with 21 jewels and signed, in part, 2001-2. Hand-sewn Franck Muller crocodile strap with steel buckle. Watch is indiscernible from new with box and papers. Serial number of this watch is very low.
