This is a rare and collectable Cartier timepiece. The Collection Privee watches are the top of the line Cartier watches in terms of exclusivity. This watch was a limited edition of only 150, made in 2004/2005. Case is 18k white gold with tonneau shape, two-part construction, with domed bezel, and sapphire crystals front and in the display back. Actually, this watch case looks a lot like the Patek Philippe 5040 case. Dimensions are 43.5mm lug tip to lug tip, 33mm wide and 11mm thick. Crown is set with blue sapphire cabochon. Dial is the classical Cartier silver with radial guilloche and black roman numerals. Hidden “Cartier” in the ‘VII’. Power reserve indicator along with date display. Blued hands which are a combination of sword and pomme hands. Great looking dial! Movement is the manual winding Cartier 9750MC with 20 jewels with engraved decorative Cartier logo. Black crocodile Cartier strap with 18k white gold Cartier deployment clasp. Watch is in mint condition with Cartier box and papers.
