Produced only in 18k gold and in platinum, the Day Date is Rolex’s top of the line watch. Displaying the day of the week below 12 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock, this model also became known as the President because the watch was worn by numerous American Presidents.
The Stella dial is a usually bright color with many coats of lacquer on top, which creates a uniquely compelling vibrancy. This dial is the rarest of the blue Stella colors: Bleau de France with gray text. To add to the dial’s attractiveness, Rolex chose diamond hour markers. We’re talking Grail Watches here folks…
Never polished original 18k white gold case features sapphire crystal, solid gold fluted bezel, and original screw down crown operating perfectly. Case measures 36mm diameter by 13.2mm thick. Serial number 7617XXX dates production to 1982.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3055 with 27 jewels and adjusted to five positions and to temperature. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer and is in clean running condition.
