If you like gold watches, an 18k gold vintage Rolex Submarnier 1680 trumps even the Rolex Day Date. This watch is just awesome. The case is a massive 40mm in diameter and 14.7mm thick. The plastic crystal on the 1680 sits high off the case and gives the 1680 a unique profile. This watch is in mint+ condition with wonderful patina on the gold, and is just gorgeous.

Original case with rich patina, indicating this watch hasn’t been touched. Serial number 4092XXX dates production to 1975.
Original untouched black nipple dial is awesome! Condition is perfect. The hour markers give the dial excellent depth. The interplay of the black and gold is gorgeous.
Movement is the Rolex automatic winding Caliber 1570, one of the most accurate automatic movements ever built by any manufacture. Maintained properly, many caliber 1570s keep time to within 1 or 2 seconds per day after 20+ years. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
