Here is a Rolex novelty from this year’s Basel Fair: the Yacht Master Rainbow. Pictures don’t do the watch justice. The bezel is extremely vibrant with its 32 colored sapphires, 8 green tsavorites and diamond triangle. It’s truly gorgeous! Case is 18k rose gold, “Everose” as Rolex calls it, in the full 40mm size, with aforementioned stone bezel, sapphire crystal, Triplock crown and 100 meters water resistance. Black dial with applied rose gold trimmed luminous hour markers and hands, with “YACHT MASTER” in red print, and date at 3 o’clock. Movement is Rolex’s workhorse, the Caliber 3135 with the sum of Rolex’s century of watchmaking skill built into it, with automatic winding and 48 hour power reserve. Black rubber “Oysterflex” strap, unsized, with Everose deployment clasp. Watch is brand new with box, hang tags and warranty card dated in June 2017.
