Description
The Patek Philippe reference 130 chronograph is the all-time classic two-register chronograph. Often emulated, never bettered. The proportions of the watch are perfect, structurally and aesthetically.

Vintage Patek Philippe watches in steel are so rare, that there is a collector’s book dedicated to them. Indeed, in the world of vintage Patek watches, steel is indeed the most precious metal.

Stainless steel case with original finish, in mint+ condition. Interestingly, Patek altered the case on the steel 130s versus the much more common 18k case 130s. Specifically, the lugs on the steel 130 case are wider and shorter. Bezel is quite narrow, drawing the eyes to focus on the picture-perfect dial. The case also features rectangular chronograph pushers, domed acrylic crystal and domed steel snap back. Dimensions are 34mm diameter by 12.5mm thick.

Matte silver Pulsations dial with brush finish and indices along with ‘XII’ and ‘VI’. Subdials are slightly sunken and display constant seconds and chronograph 30 minute totalizer. Original baton hands and blued chronograph hands. Pulsations scale on the edge of the dial graduated for 30 pulsations.

Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 13’’’ with 23 jewels and adjusted in 8 positions.
