Here is a near mint condition vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Cherry Logo reference 6262 in stainless steel, all original, with really nice looking untouched dial. This black dial with the cherry red ‘DAYTONA’ arching over the lower subdial is especially rare. The reference 6262 is hard to find. Polished steel bezel with Units per Hour scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’.
Original stainless steel case measures 37mm in diameter by 13.4mm thick. Crystal is acrylic. Screw down crown and pump chronograph pushers all working well and chrono resets to zero crisply and accurately. Case is clean and mint.
Serial number 2416XXX dates production to 1970.
Original black dial has applied hour markers and silver subdials. Subdials provide running seconds, chronograph 30 minute and 12 hour totalizers. Dial is clean and mint and untouched.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This caliber has column wheel construction and is in perfect condition.
Bracelet is the Rolex folded Oyster in fantastic condition.
