Description
For vintage AP collectors, this watch is anything but stealthy. To the unwashed, this just looks like a nice vintage watch. However, this new old stock ultra-thin 18k white gold watch contains one of Audemars Piguet’s all-time best movements: the in-house Caliber K2120 which is a variant of the K2121 with 36 jewels and automatic winding. Back in the days when the top Swiss firms competed on accuracy of timekeeping, this movement was AP’s top Chronometer movement.
Never polished cushion/tonneau hybrid shaped case in 18k white gold, with original finish intact. Razor sharp case edges/bevels and integral mesh bracelet also in 18k white gold. Bracelet will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist. Sapphire crystal. Serial number 780XX.
Original silver dial with applied white gold baton indexes and hands.
Watch is in new completely original condition and has original hang tag.
