The Reference 26252 is one of, if not the most attractive perpetual calendars out there in my opinion. A modern day evolution of what Audemars created in the late 1970’s, both using the same movement that resulted in the worlds thinnest self-winding perpetual calendar.
18k rose gold octagonal case measuring 39mm in diameter. 9.3mm thick. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal on front and display caseback. Fixed octagonal bezel with eight screws to add to its stunning design. Push/pull crown.
Original Chocolate brown toned dial with “Grande Tapisserie” pattern. Rose gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating. Date wheel at the 3 o’clock position. Month subdial at the 12 o’clock position with the center doubling and leap year indicator. Moonphase subdial at the 6 o’clock. Brown alligator leather band with 18k rose gold deployment buckle.
Movement is the famously thin automatic Audemars Piguet Caliber 2120/2802 containing 38 jewels and a 40-hour power reserve. Movement beats at 19,800 vph.
Clean, sophisticated and in incredible condition.
